The third generation CIDP 2023-2027 has been unveiled today by His Excellency Governor (Dr.) Moses Kiarie Badilisha in a colorful ceremony graced by his Nyeri counterpart His Excellency Governor Mutahi Kahiga.
The Ksh. 60.5 billion five-year development plan anchors the Change Manifesto into an actionable strategy which is premised on the three-pillar development architecture aimed at strengthening devolution and creating sustainable programmes.
“This is the people’s document and represents the aspirations of our county. It is the melting pot of our dreams, my Manifesto, national and international plans, strategies, and obligations. This event therefore isn’t just another ritual but the solemnization of our commitments to the people,” Governor Badilisha noted.
On his part, Governor Kahiga said that the CIDP as crafted comprised very realistic and achievable goals which will be realized with collective leadership and support of all leaders.
The event drew a cross section of leaders among them Deputy Governor His Excellency Mathara Mwangi, County Senator Hon. John Methu, Ndaragwa MP Hon. George Gachagua, MCAs led by the Speaker Hon. Stephen Waiganjo, and a host of county and national leaders.
