We are not relenting in saving our people from alcohol and drugs menace, His Excellency Governor (Dr.) Moses Kiarie Badilisha has assured hundreds of residents gathered at Munyaka Catholic Church for sensitization on the implementation of law against illicit liquor.
Present during the meeting were Kinangop MP Hon. Kwenya Thuku, MCAs Hon. Geoffrey Kamwana, Hon. Kiiru Gachomba and Hon. Patience Manga, CO Edward Kigo and a host of other leaders.
“This is a long drawn campaign which no amount of intimidation or blackmail will stop. Enforcement of the law will be strict and aimed at eradicating not just illicit liquor joints but also sale of other unregulated substances, and will equally target all gambling premises,” the County Head stated.
