Through the Department of Public Works, Roads, Transport, Housing and Energy, His Excellency Governor (Dr.) Moses N. Badilisha Kiarie has today opened new roads in Central Ward, Ndaragwa Sub-County, including:
 
1. Kahutha-Murichu Boundary Road;
2. Munga Road;
3. Bora Wasalome-Murichu Road; and
4. Subego-Kigogo Road.
 
A resident of Kigogo village, Mrs. Mary Wanjiru, hailed the Governor for easing the movement of people, goods and services in her part of the Ward, a first since independence.
 
“It has been extremely difficult accessing health services. We have also been experiencing numerous post-harvest losses with our tomatoes and cabbages and had resorted to hiring tractors to ferry our farm produce to markets,” she recounted.
 
The Governor is opening additional roads across Nyandarua under the County machinery program.
