Following a directive by His Excellency Governor (Dr.) Moses N. Badilisha Kiarie, County road engineers led by Director of Roads and Transport Mr. Samuel Mugi inspect ongoing construction of the Rumathi box culvert in Rumathi village, Kaimbaga Ward, Ol’Kalou Sub-County.
Residents had been using a colonial era wooden, make-shift bridge which was a disaster in waiting, especially during rainy seasons, forcing them to take an alternative route 10 kilometers away.
Upon completion, such critical amenities as schools, churches and a trading center located on both sides of the Ol’Kalou river will be accessible.
