Residents who have aggregated themselves into co-operatives societies will co-ordinate distribution of subsidized fertilizer and certified artificial insemination (AI) programs, His Excellency Governor (Dr.) Moses N. Badilisha Kiarie has announced.
In remarks delivered on his behalf by Chief Officer for Co-operative Development Mr. David Njoroge during an interaction with 750 members of Geta Farmers’ Co-operative Society in Geta Ward, Kipipiri Sub-County, the Governor noted that empowering of Nyandarua’s vibrant co-operatives movement is critical for the County’s value chains, including production and sale of farm produce.
Present was Chief Officer for Tourism, Trade and Industrialization Mr. Samuel Gitaka, area Member of the County Assembly Hon Samuel Gathirimu and Co-operative officer Ms. Rahab Wairima.
