Representing the Governor during their issuance, County Executive Committee Member for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Hon. Francis Miring’u said the implements not only ensure food sufficiency but also foster economic growth and resilience.

Provision of free maize seeds, he added, is testament to the Governor’s dedication to transform farming communities.

The beneficiaries, who were drawn from three different co-operative societies, noted that the intervention is a catalyst for increased production and income generation within the agricultural sector.
