Tulaga Farmers Co-operative Society’s Annual General Meeting in Engineer Town,

His Excellency Governor (Dr.) Moses N. Badilisha Kiarie has challenged farmers to prioritize production of high-quality milk to enhance the competitiveness of Nyandarua’s dairy industry.
In remarks delivered on his behalf by Chief Officer for Livestock and Fisheries Mr. John Kariuki during the Tulaga Farmers Co-operative Society’s Annual General Meeting in Engineer Town, Kinangop Sub-county, the Governor noted that clean milk will also fetch higher prices, instill trust and reduce risks associated with contaminated milk.
The Governor further reiterated his commitment to support farmers by providing essential services through co-operative societies.
Chief Officer for Co-operatives Development Mr. David Njoroge, who also attended the function, further hailed the Society’s over 20,000 members for their resilience and determination over the years even as their peers crashed under outright theft and mismanagement
