Welcoming the delegation which is led by Vice Chair Koitamet Olekina and Commissioner Isabel Waiyaki, Governor Badilisha appreciated the role of the constitutional commission in facilitating devolution.

“Counties remain grateful for the support of the CRA in strengthening devolution. As the CRA embarks on the fourth phase of reviewing the parameters of the equitable share and we have our reservations on the allocation criteria. Counties like Nyandarua, which are critical food baskets, require to be looked into in broader contexts and consideration,” the Governor stated.

The County Head will be engaging the commission on other issues touching on revenue allocation.
