Formation of a staff-led welfare organization
To support County Government staff in moments of grief and related crises, His Excellency Governor (Dr.) Moses N. Badilisha Kiarie is spearheading the formation of a staff-led welfare organization.
Speaking during a listening session in Ol’Kalou with staff from the Department of Education, Children, Gender Affairs, Culture and Social Services, County Secretary and Head of Public Service Mr. Frank K. Muchina revealed that the initiative aims at maximizing staff output for seamless service delivery under the Governor’s CHANGE Manifesto.
Mr. Muchina added that a culture of fairness and respect for all members of staff is non-negotiable.
“The Governor understands that workers are the face of Nyandarua, so we want to ensure equity, including promotions for all members of staff,” he said.
Present was the department’s County Executive Committee Member Hon. John Muiru and his Chief Officer Dr. Pachomius Wambugu.
