Technology Infrastructure: ICT directorate is responsible for developing and maintaining the necessary technology infrastructure within the county government. This involves setting up computer networks, internet connectivity, and hardware infrastructure required for efficient information and communication management.
Systems Development and Implementation: ICT Directorate is involved in developing and implementing information systems and software applications that streamline county government operations. This includes systems for finance and accounting, human resource management, procurement, land management, public service delivery, and other administrative functions.
Data Management and Analytics: ICT Directorate play a crucial role in managing and analyzing data within the county government. They are responsible for data collection, storage, security, and ensuring data integrity. They may also be involved in data analysis to generate insights that can inform decision-making processes.
E-Government Services: ICT Directorate work towards the digitization and automation of government services to make them accessible to citizens electronically.
