Led by their Chairperson Mr. Timothy Mathenge, the grateful members welcomed the support, which they noted follows issuance of two 10,000 litres-cooling plants, including one unveiled by His Excellency Governor (Dr.) Moses N. Badilisha Kiarie at Ndogino on November 25, 2022, alongside 40 milk cans, more than KShs.300,000 for processing and retail operations.

 

To enhance their current 30,000 thousand litres of milk capacity, the Deputy Governor urged the members to digitization and embrace zero-grazing initiatives, while ensuring them of the Governor’s continued support towards animals feeds and agro-processing.

 

Accompanied by County Executive Committee Members Hon. Francis Miring’u (Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries) and Hon. Samuel Wachira (Water, Environment, Climate Change and Natural Resources), the Deputy Governor further assured them that the County Government will look into their requests for additional coolers, land for expansion and two boreholes to minimize production costs.
